Small Groups

Communities to Grow In

When God saves us, he makes us part of His people. We belong not just to Jesus but also to Jesus’ family. Growing into this family is one of the ways we learn to love Jesus and love like Jesus. Our small groups are designed to be communities where we can wrestle with life and what it means to follow Jesus. Most of these are multi-generational groups that celebrate the good times of life together and take care of each other through the hard times of life. That’s what family does!

Our small groups meet at least once a month, and several of them meet every other week. They meet in homes throughout the community, with one group meeting at the church, and we try to limit group size to around twelve to fifteen people. Please see the information below to learn more about a few of our individual groups, then use the link "Small Group Interest Form" to get connected to a small group.

SMALL GROUP DESCRIPTIONS

Phil & Margie Goshert ~ We meet once a month on the second Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m. We share snacks, followed by a short devotional or discussion about the morning’s sermon. We then spend time praying for each other.

We currently do not have any children attending our small group meetings.

Ken & Greta KiersWe meet the second Sunday of the month from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. We begin with a time of food and fellowship, followed by sharing family updates. We next have a time of study in which we discuss the text and sermon from that Sunday morning. We end with prayer requests and time spent praying for one another.

Our small group currently consists of adults with grown children or no children. We occasionally have a game night or dinner out together. We also love to celebrate each other’s birthday.

We currently have one youth-age student attending our small group.

Bruce & Colleen Wolowski~ We meet for about an hour once a month on the second Sunday of the month at 5:00 p.m. We usually share a snack, hear an update from Bruce, who is an elder at the church, about what’s happening in the church. Then we simply talk about what’s going on in our lives. We are very informal and low impact, always open to discussion and questions.

We currently have two elementary age children attending our small group.
